Framing: part one

It is moving fast. Just yesterday, I wrote a post about providing updates as they happen, well here is the first of many!

Framing began today. The talented Clemente and his crew are on site and putting up entire walls. Great music on the radio, smiles all around, its like a backyard party.

Take a look:

These boards will form the exterior walls of my house. Look at that gorgeous grain.

This is the back area between the east wall of the ADU and the fence to the alley. Its the perfect dog run for River and a gathering area for those delicious Italian plums.

plans on site are essential to make certain all the small details will work out perfectly. We just double checked the lines to make sure the windows will line up from across the room.
